The Salvation Army is partnering with some of the world’s poorest people and providing the hand-up for them to trade their way out of poverty. ‘Sally Ann’ Fair Trade by The Salvation Army provides a fair and sustainable income allowing developing world producers to lift themselves out of the poverty trap.
We are currently selling some of the Sally Ann Fairtrade products through out website. Visit http://salvationarmy.org.au/justsalvos/p/?p=45 for more information about Sally Ann, to view the products, and to put through an order.
Just Gifts
We have recently received a report from the Zambia Territory in regards to how their community has been transformed due to the purchasing of some pigs.

The funds were sent to Chikankata high school, where they were able to purchase four new pigs, as well as food and medicine for them.  This project has helped the school by acting as an income generating projects to meet some of their needs.

This is but one example of how your funds are transforming communities around the world. Thank you for those who have bought pigs that have gone to supporting the Chikankata high school.

Tracing in reverse the journeys that refugees have taken to reach Australia, they travel to some of the most dangerous and desperate corners of the world, with no idea what is in store for them along the way.’
