Update From Marion

As promised, here is a better photo of me! I'm now 3 weeks in to my new job and still keen to hear from you about any issues concerning social justice in your area. Remember the upcoming opportunity of sharing at the Surrender conference, happening March 23-25. This is a great place to get to know others and to become inspired by the work of others. Hope to see you there! Marion

Surrender:12 - Only 3 Weeks to Go!

Our SURRENDER:12 theme is ‘Hope Speaks – Hope Acts’ which is all about exploring how we can serve God through both words and actions in our neighbourhoods. Through main sessions, workshops, worship and conversations we’ll join together to seek God’s heart for our communities, to be inspired to proclaim good news and join with the healing work of His Spirit.

Our keynote speaker, Andy Hawthorne, has had over 20 years of experience loving in word and action in one of the most disadvantaged neighbourhoods in Britain. His passion for God and for the young people of his neighbourhood has seen him help birth an amazing ministry in the Message Trust and Eden, a network of missional communities in which teams of Christians move, work and support local churches in some of the UK’s most disadvantaged communities to reach young people.

Party and Protest This Easter

We are protesting as many of the chocolate eggs on sale this Easter have been made with cocoa from plantations that use trafficked children to harvest the beans.

Join STOP THE TRAFFIK’s protest and host a Chocolate Fondue party to tell your friends, family, strangers, or even the manager of your local shop that they can help end child trafficking in the cocoa industry by choosing Traffik-Free Easter Eggs.
